A warm spirit of fellowship once again filled Anjungan Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) as the ASJB Ecumenical Prayer Fellowship held its Quarterly Worship Service on Saturday, 4 July 2026. Attended by 23 participants, the gathering reflected the enduring commitment of the ASJB family to nurture spiritual growth while strengthening the bonds of friendship among its members.

Carrying the theme, “Weaving Brotherhood Through Prayer, United in Love, Growing in Faith,” the worship service was led by Rev. Wilson Pr from Kalvari Parish, Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta. Through prayers, worship songs, and reflection on God’s Word, participants were reminded that true fellowship is built upon love, mutual care, and a shared journey of faith.

This quarterly gathering is part of the ongoing ministry of the ASJB Ecumenical Prayer Fellowship, which regularly organizes spiritual activities for the ASJB community. It follows the successful celebration of the ASJB Easter Fellowship, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to balancing social engagement with spiritual development.

Susi, Chairperson of the ASJB Ecumenical Prayer Fellowship Committee, expressed her gratitude for the successful organization of the inaugural Quarterly Worship Service, held on 4 July 2026 at the NTB Pavilion, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).

“Praise be to God! Today, the ASJB Ecumenical Prayer Fellowship successfully held its first quarterly worship service. The service ran smoothly and was led by Rev. Fr. Gregorius Wilson of Kalvari Parish. We are truly grateful for the remarkable enthusiasm shown by everyone who attended. What brought us even greater joy was that several participants who were not yet members of ASJB expressed their willingness to join our alumni family after taking part in this fellowship.”

“May the time we dedicated to God today rise before Him like a pleasing fragrance, and may it become a light that shines for those around us. My personal hope is that the ASJB Ecumenical Prayer Fellowship will continue to grow—not only through regular worship services, but also by sharing God’s love through acts of compassion, such as visiting orphanages and reaching out to those in need. May God’s love continue to flow through our fellowship and inspire us to become a blessing to many others,” Susi concluded.

Representing the ASJB Executive Board, Poppy, Head of Program Affairs, attended the event together with Henia. She expressed her sincere appreciation to the organizing committee for the invitation and the excellent execution of the program.

“Thank you for inviting ASJB to be part of this meaningful gathering. The event was well organized, everything ran smoothly, and it was wonderful to see everyone healthy, joyful, and united. We truly appreciate this initiative and hope the ASJB Ecumenical Prayer Fellowship will continue to grow and be held regularly in the years ahead,” she said.

Positive feedback also came from Ventje Pareira, a participant from North Jakarta Regional Chapter, who highlighted the importance of the program for the future of ASJB.

“The ASJB Prayer Fellowship is an excellent initiative. It embraces members from different generations, especially encouraging younger people to pursue positive values and meaningful lives. I sincerely hope ASJB will continue to grow into a stronger, more united, and more impactful alumni organization,” he remarked.

Beyond being a quarterly worship service, the event served as a reminder that the true strength of an alumni organization lies not only in its programs and achievements, but also in the quality of relationships among its members. Moments of prayer, fellowship, and sincere conversations create lasting connections that continue to enrich the ASJB community.

As the gathering concluded, participants departed with renewed hope, stronger friendships, and a shared commitment to continue living out the values of faith, love, and unity.

“Weaving Brotherhood Through Prayer, United in Love, Growing in Faith” is more than just this year’s theme—it reflects the enduring spirit of the ASJB family as they continue walking together, supporting one another, and making a positive difference in their communities.
