Between October 4, 2025 and February 23, 2026, Alumni SMA Jakarta Bersatu (ASJB) entered a decisive consolidation phase under its 2025–2028 leadership. Rather than focusing solely on program expansion, this period emphasized institutional strengthening, governance reform, regional structuring, and strategic alignment.
This phase marks ASJB’s transition from an activity-oriented alumni association into a system-driven, impact-focused organization.
Chairwoman RA Jeni Suryanti underscored the strategic intent behind this approach:
“This initial phase is about building systems, strengthening structures, and aligning direction. We want ASJB to be not only active, but institutionally strong and sustainable in impact. A solid foundation today enables greater transformation tomorrow.”
— RA Jeni Suryanti, Chairwoman of ASJB 2025–2028 (Jakarta, 24/02/2026).
Operational Performance and Program Delivery
During this reporting period, ASJB implemented 36 programs across organizational development, socio-cultural initiatives, education, entrepreneurship and MSMEs, and alumni networking.
Each initiative was designed with sustainability and measurable value in mind, reinforcing ASJB’s commitment to long-term institutional growth rather than short-term activity metrics.
Governance Reform and Institutional Strengthening
A significant milestone was the development of 39 governance instruments, including operational guidelines, coordination mechanisms, performance evaluation systems, and structured planning tools.
These frameworks enhance transparency, accountability, and operational discipline — establishing a stronger governance backbone for future expansion.
Strategic Plan 2026–2028: Institutional Direction and Alignment
The completion of the ASJB Strategic Plan (Renstra) 2026–2028 provides a clear roadmap outlining vision, mission, policy direction, priority programs, and measurable performance indicators.
This strategic blueprint ensures alignment between central leadership and Regional Coordinators (Korwil), securing organizational coherence and continuity.
Regional Consolidation and Leadership Strengthening
Eight fully established regional leadership boards across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) now serve as operational anchors. Formed through democratic processes and formal inaugurations, these regional structures strengthen execution capacity and enhance localized engagement.
Membership Modernization and Digital Integration
Through the development of asjblink.org, ASJB introduced an integrated digital membership system centralizing registration, data management, information dissemination, and program publication.
Head of Membership Affairs Darma Azwan emphasized the strategic importance of active membership:
“Membership is not merely registration — it is engagement and ownership. For new members, ASJB is a platform for growth and networking. For existing members, it is an opportunity to step forward, contribute, and lead.”
— Darma Azwan, Head of Membership Affairs (Jakarta, 24/02/2026).
Digital integration enhances connectivity, while active participation strengthens institutional resilience.
Economic Empowerment Through MSME Development
ASJB’s MSME platform recorded 219 active members, 273 catalogued products, and an average of 250 daily visitors. Beyond commercial exchange, this initiative serves as both an economic empowerment mechanism and a strategic membership entry point.
The development of a Membership Card (KTA) integrated with a unique Alumni Identification Number (NIA) further strengthens data integrity and service efficiency.
Communication, Partnerships, and Public Trust
The organization published 41 articles during the reporting period, achieving a 12% increase in readership. Consistent communication strategy has enhanced visibility and reinforced ASJB’s positive public narrative.
Strategic partnerships, including collaboration with Davoice Radio, further position ASJB as a dynamic and productive alumni network.
Growing institutional trust is also reflected in engagement with the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, particularly in education and MSME development sectors.
Continuous Improvement and Forward Outlook
Key improvement areas identified include standardized recruitment procedures, strengthened communication flows between central and regional structures, enhanced cross-regional participation, and the establishment of regional task forces to accelerate execution.
With strengthened governance, structured regional leadership, digital integration, and a clear strategic roadmap, ASJB is positioned for scalable and sustainable growth.
The consolidation phase has not only strengthened the organization internally — it has prepared ASJB for its next leap as an inclusive, professionally managed, and impact-driven alumni institution.
